Harrogate Saltire Scottish Country Dance Club is open to everyone interested in Scottish country dancing, whatever their level of ability. Its aim is to promote the enjoyment of Scottish Country Dancing, and we welcome new people at any time of year, both those who have never danced, and those who have danced in the past and want to take it up again.

If you are a beginner and would like to give Scottish Country Dancing a try, do come along to one or all of our four Taster Sessions in September and October 2027. Please see the flyer below for further details.

During term time we dance on Wednesdays from 7.45 pm to 10.00 pm, and in September 2026 we are moving to St. Luke’s Church Hall, Franklin Square, Harrogate. HG1 2EL. (See the Class Night page for a map). Our Club evenings are informal with the aim of learning to dance and improving technique but at the same time having fun! We stop for refreshments during the evening.

There is no fee for the first evening you attend, after which classes currently cost £3 each or you can become a member of the Club and pay by the term, currently £35 .
